Tried to save money by purchasing this griddle. Can't say I'm surprised but it doesn't heat evenly at all. Someday I'll learn. It will go on my "giveaway" pile and will now look for something of quality.

WearEver Balance 11-inch griddleAs its name implies, this 11-inch WearEver Balance griddle has stability and satisfying weight, making it a handy tool for cooking up burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, or a full menu of brunch items. Formed from highly conductive aluminum, it boasts a long-lasting porcelain exterior and a nonstick interior that even stands up to metal utensils. This combination creates an efficient cooking environment and reduces the need for fat to a minimum. Riveted for maximum strength, the griddle's comfortable handle features a non-slip silicone grip and a hole for hanging storage. Like the rest of Balance cookware, the pan is oven-safe to 350 degrees. It is also safe in the dishwasher, though WearEver recommends washing it by hand.
